Tereza is a student at Palacký University in Olomouc currently completing her PhD in Anglo-Saxon history. She works as an international relations officer at the International Department of Palacký University. She was involved in a number of volunteer activities helping foreign students and teachers during her studies. During the first wave of the quarantine caused by the coronavirus, Tereza was the main person responsible for taking care of a group of foreign students studying and living in Olomouc. She was the main coordinator between embassies, students and foreign staff. Together with her colleagues, she established a volunteer system to provide them with practical and emotional support. She also took part in organizing a series of online concerts and other events to encourage and entertain them. She is very passionate about her job, mostly in intercultural dialogue and enriching not only the experience of exchange students but also the wider acceptance of students in the Czech Republic.
