Tereza Růžičková

Tereza Růžičková is a Czech psychologist, researcher and mental health activist. She studied Experimental Psychology at University of Oxford, where she also recently submitted her PhD. Her research has focused on developing cost-effective treatments for depression that can be easily disseminated around the world. She has taught about many topics from psychiatry and neuroscience both at Oxford and at Masaryk University in Czechia. Tereza is the co-founder of Nevypust dusi, a non-profit organisation improving public awareness about mental health. She currently works as a writer and researcher for Mind Ease, a mental health start-up developed on the principles of Effective Altruism. She is also in training to become a cognitive-behavioural psychotherapist. In her spare time, she loves to dance and practice yoga.
