
Alyssa McIntyre
ALYSSA MCINTYRE is a Program Officer in the Digital Program at Aspen Institute Germany, where she develops and manages initiatives at the intersection of digital policy, democracy, and ethics. Her current work includes projects on disinformation resilience among online opinion leaders through the “#InfluencersAgainstDisinfo” initiative, as well as research into the societal implications of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. Previously, McIntyre focused on inclusive digitalization, exploring how European “smart cities” can better meet the needs of people with disabilities. Before transitioning into policy, she worked in the disability services sector in Melbourne, supporting diverse, multilingual families and advocating for accessible community services. She holds a B.A. from the University of Melbourne and an M.A. in Public Policy from the Willy Brandt School at the University of Erfurt. Her professional background reflects a strong commitment to equity, accessibility, and democratic resilience in the digital age.
