Marie Polášková

Marie is a CBT therapist and PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology specializing in evidence-based interventions for anxiety. She currently leads the Bez obav project at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), a parent-led anxiety intervention originally developed at the University of Oxford. Her work bridges clinical practice and research, with a focus on translating scientifically grounded treatments into accessible, real-world support for families. Through both therapy and research, she is committed to improving mental health outcomes by empowering parents, strengthening children’s emotional resilience, and advancing high-quality psychological care in Czechia.
