Tomáš Havelka

TOMÁŠ HAVELKA graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, where he studied international trade. Seeking a broader perspective, he pursued opportunities abroad, including an internship at CzechTrade in Madrid, where he supported Czech companies entering the Spanish market. He also studied international management during an exchange at the University of Michigan and spent a semester at the University of Málaga. After graduation, he joined PwC, where he worked with financial institutions on implementing new IT tools and applications. He currently works at KB Group, the third-largest financial group in Czechia. He started in the strategy team as a senior consultant, contributing to transformation initiatives and working closely with senior leadership. He now serves as a Product Owner in the ESG residential real estate area, where he leads a small team focused on developing sustainable housing solutions, with a strong emphasis on affordability. Last year, he was elected Vice-Chairman of a Czech Banking Association working group on housing affordability, where he collaborates on advancing practical solutions to improve access to housing. He is motivated by the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, system-level change. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, playing tennis, running, and occasionally returning to the world of Harry Potter.
