Christopher Jakoubek

CHRISTOPHER JAKOUBEK is a public affairs professional specializing in sustainability, green transition policy, and EU regulatory affairs. He currently serves as Senior Account Executive at FIPRA in Brussels, where he is part of the Green Transition Team. Prior to joining FIPRA in 2025, he gained experience across both the private sector and EU institutions. He worked at the British Chamber of Commerce EU & Belgium, where he covered a wide range of policy areas, and contributed to the Green Economy Partnership Initiative, advocating for stronger green cooperation between the EU and the UK. Earlier in his career, he held a role in a public affairs consultancy focusing on sustainability, chemicals policy, and the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS). He also worked at the European Commission, in DG GROW’s International Value Chains Unit, where he contributed to policy development on global industrial ecosystems. Christopher holds a degree in International Business from Middlesex University and an MA in International Political Economy from King’s College London.
