Dorota Saitzová

DOROTA SAITZOVÁ is a Czech civil servant and diplomat. She is currently posted to the Czech Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels, where she covers topics related to Asia and EU-Asian relations. Prior to her current posting, she was seconded for a year to the French foreign ministry, where she covered issues related to the EU internal market. She was also part of the first cohort of the European Diplomatic Academy of the EEAS, established in 2022. Dorota holds a master’s degree in international security and East Asia Studies from the Paris School of International Affairs (Sciences Po). After finishing her studies, she has spent two and a half years working in the private sector, first as a management consultant in Paris, later as a public affairs coordinator for a major pharmaceutical company in Singapore, and six months working for the UNDP in Moldova. She has finally joined the Czech civil service in 2020, during the peak of the covid crisis, after eight years of living abroad.
