Marina Popjaková

MARINA POPJAKOVÁ is a Coordinator to the City Director at Bratislava City Hall, where she helps shape the leadership team’s strategic agenda, drive cross-departmental initiatives and foster collaboration with civic and international partners. Before entering public service, she built an international career in the private sector, gaining extensive experience in project management, strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and innovation. She previously worked at ESET as Global Sales Program Manager and spent eight years at Swiss Re in Switzerland and Slovakia, including international rotations in Hong Kong and Beijing, as well as with Public Sector Solutions. With a background in economics from Université Libre de Bruxelles and secondary studies in France, Marina brings a strong international outlook, which she has deliberately reoriented toward applying her skills to public purpose and strengthening transparent, innovative institutions in Slovakia.
