Sergei Guriev

is Chief Economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), London. He is also a Research Fellow at the Center for Economic Policy Research (London), Professor of Economics at the Instituts d’études politiques in Paris (Sciences Po) and a member of the Executive Committee of the International Economic Association. In 2006, he was selected a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. In 2011, he was a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Europe, in 2012-14—co-chair of the Global Agenda Council on New Economic Thinking, and in 2014-15—a member of the Global Agenda Council on Geo-Economics.
